Using an artificial sweetener in F1 Instant allows Herbalife to limit total calories which helps those on a weight management regimen. Herbalife uses Sucralose known as Splenda which is safe and well tolerated.

A:           A non-nutritive sweetener is one which has no nutritional value in the

                human body. It provides no nutrition to the body and because of this,

A:           The sodium content in Formula 1 Instant is higher that regular F1 due to the higher levels of protein in the product. Regular F1 contains between 125-165mg of sodium, depending on the flavor. A serving of milk has 180mg sodium. So an average Formula 1 shake would actually have around 340mg of sodium when made. Both shake types are well within the FDA’s ‘heart smart’ healthy meal sodium guidelines.

instant has 410 mg which is well below that level.
